Set in the heart of the village, our church is a traditional stone built church with a square tower. The church is floodlit and visible from the main road. There are six bells in the tower. In the churchyard is a pretty example of an old school which is now used as the church rooms.
Registers not in current use are lodged at the Norfolk Records Office. We are one of the churches in the benefice of Dickleburgh and the Pulhams.
Our Rector, Rev'd Sarah Walsh, lives at the Rectory in Pulham Market. During the emergency caused by the Covid19 virus we are not holding regular services, but we are still very much available for prayer and pastoral care. Visit the "Who's Who? page of our website to find the full contact details for our church. If you have a general query please contact our benefice administrator. Rushall's small medieval rural church is open 24/7, and two services a month are currently held, Holy Communion, and a trial Morning Worship Church Warden led. Other special services are held at Easter, Harvest, Remembrance and Christmas. Our small faithful congregation is drawn from nearby villages as well as Rushall, and we are thankful to dedicated volunteers who keep the church welcoming and clean. New active members to the small PCC, which meets every 2 months, would be most welcome.
We have committed to an Eco Church journey of expressing and improving our caring for God's world, in an environmentally caring way, which we wish to reflect more in our services, worship, teaching and activities, and how we look after the church building and churchyard.
